PLAY WITHOUT PAIN

The Spiro Tennis Elbow Splint is a scientifically developed orthopedic device designed to help relieve and prevent the pain of tennis elbow. The splint allows players with persistent pain to resume playing with virtually no pain and greatly reduces the chances for reinjury. Even players who have not experienced tennis elbow, as well as beginning players, may wear the splint as a preventative device.

WHAT IS TENNIS ELBOW, ANYWAY?

Tennis elbow is an occupational hazard of tennis players, gardeners, dentists, carpenters, bricklayers, and others who encounter repeated impact when the arm is extended and force is applied. Tennis elbow (epicondilitis)is one of the most common orthopedic injuries among persons over eighteen. The primary cause of tennis elbow is micro tears of the extensor muscles. Additionally there may be injury to capsular ligaments of the lateral aspect of the elbow. In layman's language, tennis elbow is often the result of small tears in muscles just below the elbow.

HOW DOES THE SPIRO TENNIS ELBOW SPLINT WORK?

The splint utilizes individually tightened loop lock Velcro closures at the wrist and forearm to secure and support the forearm muscles. The alloy bar secured to the wrist and forearm closures prevents them from slipping during play and reduces the vibration from off-center hits. This simple and comfortable device has been tested for years with nearly all wearers reporting immediate relief from pain. Continued wearing has greatly limited the chances for reinjury.

DO YOU HAVE TENNIS ELBOW?

Even carefully trained professional athletes are often subject to occupational injuries and discomfort caused by tennis elbow. Players of sports involving balls and/or racquets, paddles, and sticks, as well as carpenters, florists and computer users have found relief from tennis elbow by using the Spiro Tennis Elbow Splint.
