Paige, an LPGA teaching and club professional
and a inaugural member of the Interbay FGC teaching staff, has taught for more
than eight years, and has also served a Head Professional and General Manager.
An Arizona native, Paige began playing golf at
age 14. Three years later she won the Arizona Girl’s State Championship. Paige
later competed at the University of Arizona, where she was a member of the
traveling team along with Annika Sorenstam and Leta Lindley (now LPGA touring
professionals). The Arizona team was among the top three teams in the country
and Paige finished her college career ranked among the top 25 nationally.
World-renowned instructor Jimmy Ballard has had
the greatest influence on her teaching style and fundamentals. She prides
herself on her ability to simplify the swing and believes that the swing must be
simple if it is going to be consistent. Paige’s diverse playing and teaching
background has resulted in the development of specialized lessons for
individuals and groups of all ages and abilities. First-hand knowledge of
tournament play and college golf makes her an excellent resource for juniors and
others wanting to raise their level of play.
Her exemplary playing career is a testament to
her teaching style. She has competed in many national and regional events. In
1999 Paige won the LPGA Club Pro Western Section, finished 3rd at the Golf for
Women Teaching & Club Pro Championship and advanced to the Finals of Tour
Qualifying. In 2000 she will compete on the SBC Futures Tour, the official
developmental tour of the LPGA.
